Set in the beautiful landscape of the English Lake District, the festival will take place at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal. The Brewery is a registered charity and one of the largest multi-purpose arts centres in the north west of England, employing more than 90 members of staff and attracting more than 300,000 visitors a year.
As well as presenting and exhibiting an extremely diverse and
varied year-round programme of the best of contemporary and classic
theatre, music, dance, literature, visual arts and film from around
the world, we provide a full, varied and inclusive education and
participation programme for adults and children of all ages both in
the Centre and surrounding rural areas. The Brewery is also a venue
for people to meet both formally and informally, with a first class
restaurant and intimate bars, and is the ideal venue for a festival
of this kind.
