INDEPENDENT TELEVISION COMPANIES WANTED

APPLICATIONS are invited from independent television companies from the Nations and Regions for the highly acclaimed Researcher Development Programme (RDP).

This unique training initiative is designed and delivered by The Research Centre (TRC) in partnership with Channel 4 Television. The RDP enables independent production companies to employ a development researcher for a period of 12 months to work exclusively in the critical areas of programme development.

The RDP offers delegates top-flight training in ideas development, treatment writing, pitching skills, DV camera, advanced internet research and future media opportunities, amongst many other specialist workshops. Critically, the RDP also provides delegates with unprecedented access to UK network commissioning editors.

14 places will be available on this year's RDP which begins late November 2007. Full guidelines and application forms can be downloaded from www.trcmedia.org.
