Raw Cuts

TEENAGE IDENTITY EXPLORED IN FILMMAKING COMPETITION

CHANNEL 4's 4 Talent and the NSPCC have joined forces once again to launch the second Raw Cuts competition for 13-18 year olds. The winners will take part in four day workshops at Channel 4's London HQ - a great opportunity for teenagers to learn about the filmmaking process and the TV industry.

The call to teenagers everywhere asks is it possible to express your individuality while also wanting to fit in? It's all a question of identity. How do you identify yourself and who do you most identify with?

Raw Cuts is looking for a selection of identity descriptions from teenagers (350-500 words). If selected they’ll be used to make the short films which will be broadcast in a primetime evening slot on Channel 4. This will be real reality TV - a true reflection of teenage voices from across the whole of the UK and a piece of television history.
