In 2006, we recorded a massive 450 productions in the
region. That translates into over 2,500 filming days. But the
region has always got room for more.
We’re proud to have the world’s longest running soap,
Coronation Street, filmed in Manchester, and the
country’s leading teen continuing drama, Hollyoaks,
based in Liverpool. And when it comes to TV drama, the Northwest is
in a class of its own.
