Mediabox
Mediabox is continuing the Mid and Big Mediabox grants to make and distribute youth-led media projects that express young people's ideas and views in a creative way, using their preferred media platform. Northwest Vision and Media have won the tender to become the regional partner for Mediabox in 2008/09.

One-to-ones
Where appropriate, and after phone consultation, the Production, Trade and Investment department offer informal one-to-one meetings to assist businesses or individuals working in the media industry. There are no current opportunities for support of this kind.

Short Sharp Shots
Northwest Vision and Media supported this short film scheme for Northwest-based filmmakers aged between 18-24. All films had to be shot on mobile phones and nine preliminary winners enjoyed places on a two-day intensive master class and new camera phones.
