Whether you’re on the couch, in a cafe or on the train, the
i-debate is an exciting new online debating forum that can be
accessed via the web, enabling everyone to have a say and get
involved in issues at the heart of the CDNN.
“Everyone joining the forum will be able to debate directly
with experts through online chat, post questions and comments, then
follow the opinions of our guest bloggers. There’s also the
opportunity to participate further through our dedicated discussion
groups,” explains Janette O'Carroll, Training and Development
Manager for Northwest Vision and Media, which works on behalf of
the region’s film, TV and digital content industries.
Over the coming months topics for debate will include recruitment,
selection, training and retention.
For more information visit www.cdnnorth.org.uk from December 6, where
you’ll be able to whet your appetite by watching pre-debate
vodcasts, as well as being able to post questions to our
experts.
The first live online debate “The Good the Bad and The Ugly"
will explore key issues around diversity and onscreen portrayal,
and will take place on Wednesday 12th December 2007 at 3.30pm
– be sure to put it in your diary.
