THE Northwest of England is home to some exceptionally talented people. Here at Northwest Vision and Media we recognise this and have teamed up with ITV to launch one of our ‘Enabling Talent’ programmes at the Discover Media event on 20th and 21st August 2007.

Our overall aim is to offer people with disabilities an opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge they will need for a career in the media industry. And do so in a fun and interactive way.

Thirty talented individuals will be offered a place on the two day course and then, the people with the most relevant potential will be invited to attend the Enabling North West Talent Academy in September.

Here, our students will be able to develop skills in creative script writing, research, production and post production as well as general media knowledge.
