Costume Trainee Wanted on Liverpool Feature Film

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS PASSED

ANYONE interested in a career in costume is being urged to apply for this fabulous, paid, training placement on a feature film about to start shooting in Liverpool.

Northwest Vision and Media has arranged for this exclusive opportunity on the feature film, Starstruck, which is about to start shooting in the city as part of the prestigious Digital Departures initiative.

Digital Departures is Vision and Media’s micro-budget feature film scheme, which recently announced that three fully-funded feature films are to be made in Liverpool, with plans to premiere the movies during Capital of Culture celebrations.

Starstruck is a dark drama following two Liverpool teenage girls, obsessed with a young premiership footballer, as they lure him to a caravan for a night of passion – but things don’t play out quite how they imagine.

Written by award-winning Liverpool writer Leigh Campbell, who has seen her scriptwriting career supported and nurtured by Vision and Media since 2002, Starstruck is produced by Andy Stebbing and directed by Lindy Heymann, whose last film Showboy won Best Film at the Milan International Film Festival.

This placement opportunity will provide valuable on-the-job training as well as specific occupational skills development.

If you are available for interview in Liverpool on the 7th of April, available to train in Liverpool and Manchester (mainly Liverpool) from the 9th of April to the 7th of May, and have prior experience in and a passion for costume for film, television and/or theatre then follow the instructions below on how to apply.
