*Preparing a proposal for co-production pitching
* Establishing co-producing channels & partners
* Putting together a finance plan
* Creating a co-production budget
* When do you bring in a distributor?
* Designing and delivering treaty co-productions
* Negotiating co-production contracts
* Practical examples of versioning and managing shared editorial input
* Maintaining positive cash-flow
* Ensuring deliverables are provided accurately and on time
This course will be delivered by leading co-production authority Lilla Hurst.
This is your opportunity to perfect your co-production strategy and receive essential guidance on the issues that matter to your business. Lilla will be adding the expertise of fellow co-production authorities from production, distribution and law.
Lilla has worked as Head of Acquisitions and Co-production at RDF Rights where she was responsible for the £3m Indies’ Investment Fund. In 2004 she moved to set up Channel Five’s co-production department and generated over £10m in co-finance for a range of factual, comedy and drama projects.
In May 2008 Lilla left Five to launch Lillavision Ltd and is now working alongside broadcasters and independent producers to raise co-production finance and grow cross-platform relationships.
Places on this course are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Maximum 2 delegates per company. Once you have registered you will be sent an invoice for £30.00, this must be paid prior to attending the workshop.
