Cannes Bursaries 2009

Northwest Vision and Media are offering four bursaries of £500 to support regional filmmakers who want to attend the Cannes Film Festival in May.

The bursaries are primarily aimed at filmmakers with market-ready feature length projects.

You must be an individual resident in the Northwest region of England (Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside) to apply.

Applicants should contact Vision and Media’s PTI Department in the first instance on 0870 609 4481 or email jennyh@visionandmedia.co.uk to discuss their plans and prior to submitting an application.

The dealine for applications is midday on Wednesday 15 April and successful candidates will be notified on 21 April.

Important: The deadline for Cannes festival accreditation is April 3rd 2009. It is free to register and essential if you want to attend.
