Bollywood in Cumbria

BOLLYWOOD blockbuster Mr Bhatti on Chutti is being filmed in Cumbria and we are offering you the unique chance to experience the shoot.

Six individuals, from either a black ethnic minority background or from Cumbria, will be chosen to work alongside the cast and crew during September in one of a number of positions. The placements are residential in Cumbria and some positions will require a driving licence and car.

There are five different placements available:

· Trainee Camera Assistant
· Trainee Locations Assistant
· Trainee Costume Assistant
· Trainee Production Runner
· Trainee Assistant Floor Runner x 2

(Individuals can only apply for one position)

As part of the traineeship, you must be available for:

· an assessment day on the 29th August
· pre-placement training in Manchester on the 31st August and 1st September

Placements start on the 6th September and finish on 27th.

To be eligible, you must:

· be 17 or over
· live in the Northwest
· be from a Black Minority Ethnic background or a resident of Cumbria
· Not be in full time or further education
